— Again, and more beautifully than before
Warli, Mandala, Tanjore and more — each painting a return, each stroke a new beginning.

The story behind the name
Jyothi first picked up a brush as a child. Life took over. Then in 2016, a YouTube video pulled her back. Then life paused her again.
But the third time, she returned transformed — trading western styles for the classical folk traditions of India. Warli, Mandala, Tanjore. Classes. Practice. Devotion.
Dobara is Hindi for "again." It is the whole story in one word.
"Jyothi picked up a paintbrush as a child the way most children pick up a pencil — naturally, without thinking. She came back to painting. Again. And more beautifully than before."
The Artist
Each painting rooted in India's folk and classical traditions — carried by a woman who refused to let the art stay dormant.
Original paintings spanning India's most beloved artistic traditions
About the Artist
Jyothi picked up a paintbrush as a child the way most children pick up a pencil — naturally, without thinking. Life had other plans. School gave way to responsibilities, and the brushes were quietly set aside.
In 2016, a YouTube video changed that. She came back to painting on her own terms — teaching herself, experimenting freely, finding her way back to something she had never truly left. Then in 2020, a new kind of joy arrived: her son. The brushes rested again.
But this time, the return was different. She discovered Indian classical and folk art — Warli, Mandala, Tanjore — and enrolled in formal classes for the first time. What began as a homecoming became a transformation. Today, Jyothi paints with the confidence of someone who has earned every stroke twice over.
"Art is not what you see, but what you make others see."
Dobara means again. It is not just a name — it is the philosophy. Art that paused, returned, transformed. These paintings carry the weight of that journey.
